Big Chinese trade surplus with US .......and the buyer is always right , so China will take notice and tread that fine line making adjustments where needed . but the US have been smart and not gone after China in general but Chinese banks - there sanctions are aimed at specific companies dealing with russia
your suggestion of a possible ban on oz trade n coal to China is a huge stretch of the imagination that only the pro russ can mange - won't happen
of course goes without saying that thermal coal production is on borrowed time and yes we definitely DO need to diversify our exports to diminish our reliance on China
Oz have done the right thing in suppporting the Ukraine defence against this horrible unprovoked attack by russia and in supporting rule of law globally - and will continue to - (although someone wishing to argue that there is no morality in international relations may not be able to see that ....or want to see that !)
