    I say Putin's objective is to conquer Ukraine. That would require taking Ukrainian land, all of it.

    You say that it is not Putin's objective to conquer Ukraine.

    Later you say Putin taking more ground in Ukraine is bringing Putin closer to his objectives.

    You might want to explain that contradiction.
