what changed ? russia invaded Ukraine - putin had expected the Ukraine war to end in about 10 days ....he was wrong .....and this gave Finland and Sweden the time they needed to join NATO also ....russias aggressive attitude to the Arctic territory
spending by these countries about one third of what russia spends on her military and this is probably indicative of their relative strengths
