Unfortunately, I see both sides as locked in.

Within the first 6 months of the war, I thought there might have been opportunities to find a peaceful solution.

But now, its harder and harder, as more and more people die, on both sides. Personally, I don't see a peace deal any time soon.

The reality is, Ukraine is losing - losing manpower and military equipment, much faster than Russia.

And a losing Ukraine will mean a lost of prestige and standing for the "Rules Based Order" of Nato - really, its about US hegemony!!!

And if the US loses its hegemony, we will have a new multipolar World, where the US won't be able to project its power worldwide. A lot now is at stake.

So I can't see the US/Nato walking away from this. The issue for me, is how far will US/Nato go: will they send forces into Ukraine to fight the Russian?

Thus far, more than 500,000 have already sacrificed their lives.

I am resigned to the fact that many more Ukrainian and Russian will die. Just hoping it does not end with 500M or 5B dead people before this insanity stops.
