I find "faux sympathy " propounded as an argument for Ukraine to simply "GIVE UP" .......putin has set some unacceptable conditions ....and even last night russia said there was basis fo negotiations at present .......so any attempt by Ukraine to end this war IS simply giving up .
Ukrainians at present as a country are not ready to do that .....it is their choice to make ......in that circumstance everyone must do their share and while avoiding conscription and individual choice are IDEAL they are not practical ......even putin with four times the population fins it is needed .
the only moral choice here is to support the victim and not the aggressor . Ideally the war ends by the aggressor witrhdrawing from a country they have no tight to be in and hence stop these sad pointless deaths .
