I would happily bet putin will not be considering ANYONE taking over from him . The very worst apsect of dieing for him I'm sure will be relinquishing control of russia .
Shoigu wasn't the biggest loser in the reshuffle - was the security advisor Petroshev (former FSB director ) who was grooming his son,(the ag minister) as an eventual succesor to putin but of course ....lke Stalin ......putin is as suspicious of talent as he is of ambition .....HE DOESN'T WANT ANY ALTERNATIVE poking their head up above the pack ....still , kinder of him merely to sack whereas Stalins solution was more final
