The US is the dominant force in NATO. NATO is an aggressive military organisation through which the US enforces it's interest in and around Europe, Africa, and central Asia, in league with the other imperialist powers UK, Germany and France under the NATO umbrella.
I say "US/NATO" wars so I encompass all the neo-colonial wars the US has instigated in Eastern Europe the Middle East and North Africa because some were "NATO" led wars, but were instigated mainly by the US (Serbia,Libya), while other wars were US led but NATO played a role as in Afghanistan, Iraq, Syria..
I'm not being misleading, it is just a shorthand way of covering all the criminal wars of imperialist neo-colonial conquest which both US and NATO have caused over the past 30 years.
As for the rest of your post , that is all the PR lies which US/NATO fabricates to cover up the Imperialist origins of these wars of conquest and the real interests involved.
