Oh yeah, the west and the EU broke the fictitious agreement that Ukraine wouldn't join NATO (over which the EU has no control) by at no point ever admitting Ukraine to NATO, therefore meaning Putin had to immediately invade Ukraine as soon as his buddy's olympics were over, as immediate revenge for Ukraine having never joined NATO.
