I think you're walking on thin ice there Tangs.. 'reason to be invaded' is a subjective justification, and it could be argued that Russia also had a 'reason to invade'

you are saying whilst we can justify our 'reasons to invade' others can not ?

to attempt to justify or to forgive complicity by arguing there was a 'reason' to do something is akin to saying to a beaten domestic abuse victim that they had it coming..

I do not in any way condone the violence that Russia has unleashed on their neighbour but there has to be a more objective approach to bring the warring parties back to the table, an acknowledgement of complicity from both sides and agreements as to better tolerance of differences both cultural and economic..

Furthermore, the USA and Great Britain should stop the narrative of 'defeating Russia on the battlefield' knowing full well that they cannot and accept the fact, that they failed to protect Ukraine territorially, when it mattered most.. The west should look ourselves in the mirror and blame ourselves, rather than Russia..

Russia is basically a failed state.. yet this failed state now holds 25% of the territory it coveted.. let it have the scorched and poisoned land that it so desperately wanted and walk away knowing that they paid a price so dear that it may well be fatal for Russian society and perhaps it's economy forever.. end it now and Ukraine walks away the hero, sacrificing a bit of land but taking potentially 200k Russian lives and destroying perhaps a million Russian families forever.. Putin will have to answer to that in his own house, why do we have to be the judge ?

Let Russia go on eating itself from the inside out, it's not our problem
