imo taxpayers should not complain the ALP did not increase taxes from the haves to help pay off the deficit...but now who do you think the LNP will try get money off to cover those losses? You .....bedrock and all the other workers and asset holders who the LNP can only take more tax from because the poor have no assets or income to tax. So I would not rubbish the ALP for not increasing your taxes to cover their excessive expenditures. Govt borrowing are far far cheaper to pay than taxpayers to borrow from banks which charge commercial rates of about triple the govt bond rate cost.
