It's a daily sell-down at the moment.
A buyback would mean each share on issue would own a bigger % of the business. (The opposite of issuing new shares).
Consolidation your % ownership stays unchanged it's just a fractional change and big admin cost.
A buyback makes total sense.. consolidations tend to be a massive let down unless timed within a bull run where stock was increasing anyway.
At $3100 per ounce this is an amazing business.. sad state of society when it's in the dog box.
