If you are a billionair, then you will never touch investement housing.. Its too small and time consuming to own 1000's of rental houses.
They only get into building shopping centers, high rise apartement buildings, casinos, and developing farmland into housing estates to sell off to builders. All these things have much more return, and allows them to pump 10's of millions in.
Investement housing is just a poor mans game.
