Interesting article in Shares magazine. Berkeley's $120m financial deal will allow them to start the less economic Retortillo section of the project. The higher quality part of the mine, zona 7 which is due to start production a year later, hasn't got a mining permit yet. This may prove problematic due to it's close proximity to a nearby village. Aura gets nice coverage but when discussing possible risks associated with uranium plays, it would have been nice if they had mentioned that Aura offers insurance via it's diversified assets...namely Tasiast! Especially given the current move in Gold.
