I have been disillusioned for some time at the cavalier attitude of the Australian authorities to the blatant market manipulation that - quite apart from the pernicious effects on investor confidence (as amply demonstrated by comments on this thread) - has the perhaps unintended consequence of facilitating the ever increasing proportion of offshore holding. If this keeps up, I think overseas holders will eventually insist on moving the company to a more highly regulated market environment where share value will be better protected, where it will not be continually hammered by manipulators looking for quick easy money.

Where to? Most likely to the USA, and despite the fact that I would actually regret to see such a move, you can be certain it would be of benefit to the share price.
