It's also important to realise that retail investors buy according to how much money they have available, but big players work off how much is an acceptable loss/risk, as is the case for the made up Mr Big. His strategy allows for a loss of X amount, whether that be 10mil shares to 0c or 100mil hedged. His account and available funds may be big enough to buy out IMU several times, but these people buy according to loss risk not available funds, as was the case with Mr Big. This was also a possible example of what has happened and could be happening, not about to happen in the future, hence the made up numbers of 25c.

Thanks for the reply Zior. I realised it was ficticious, i just didn't understand the numbers. Maybe because i don't understand how hedging works.
