Weekly Fundamental and Technical Analysis Prospects - Week Starting 19th May 2014 (No. 115)
Here’s this week’s FA and TA List. The newer items first and those carried forward from last week towards back of list (some of the items from last week have a time horizon of more that one week).
All listed market caps are undiluted (and do not include escrowed shares) (Note: Max time for any entry on list will be 4 weeks after which time it will be removed).

Important Note: Remember just because it appears on the list does not necessarily mean it will rise in price... it may actually fall or do nothing. So it is critical that you perform detailed research on each stock first and make your own mind up to whether invest or not. I suggest you run a stop-loss at all times when trading/investing. How tight your stops are depends on your threshold to risk and financial pain. Lastly I take no responsibility for the accuracy of the information provided as I do not have the time to research all the facts that have been provided. Best of Luck.!

    KNL - Graphite,
    19/05/2014

OU got extended for their other project which put a dampener on my previous attempt/pick, subsequently price has retreated, however Epanko results should be forthcoming over the next 4 weeks, see below - no guts no glory :)Mcap ~$19mShares on Offer ~105mThe Company’s primary focus is its 100%-owned Epanko deposit. Metallurgy has found Epanko graphite to be large flake & expandable in nature. Epanko currently has an Inferred Mineral Resource Estimate of 14.9Mt, grading 10.5% TGC, for 1.56Mt of contained graphite, defined in accordance with the JORC Code. This initial estimate only covers 20% of the project area. On 23/12/13 the Company announced it had signed a binding off-take agreement with a major European Graphite Trader. The agreement provides Kibaran with a significant partner in the graphite industry to jointly market & sell graphite with the security of an overriding off-take guarantee from the EGT. It also provides independent endorsement of the quality and commercial appeal of the large flake graphite identified at Kibaran’s Epanko graphite deposit. On 3/2/14 the Company announced a successful Cap Raising issuing 9.0 million fully paid ordinary shares, at $0.125, with sophisticated investors to raise $1.125 million. The funds were raised to enable the Company to complete a drilling program to upgrade the Epanko resource.

    SGQ - Nickel ,
    16/05/2014

With the placement to sophisticated investors completed in a day and heavily oversubscribed I believe there are no impediments to a strong rise in SGQ's SP. Drilling will begin within two weeks on a number of conductors determined by Newexco. These guys have a great team who appear to be very confident of success in locating an economic deposit of nickel sulphides in this drilling program. IMO the strong buying of the SGQO options today indicate that well informed sources are also confident of a discovery and like the leverage offered through the options. It is easy to see from the map below that SGQ have the commanding ground position in this area. I hold three of the juniors shown in this map as I think any discovery will have flow on effect to other juniors with good ground position in the area

    15/05/2014

Currently in a trading halt for results/update from drilling at their Plato prospect in the Fraser Range. Given there has been very little volume or price appreciation in recent days the only reason I can imagine for management calling this halt is that they know that price sensitive news is imminent and wish to avoid any potential leak of information from either the field or labs. If there has been a discovery of merit then one might conclude we will see a sharp move upwards similar to what we saw a few weeks ago.

    CZN - Nickel Copper Explorer,
    14/05/2014

MC $2m ishCash $2m ish Corazon seems to be hanging it's hat on the Lynn Lake Nickel/Copper Project now,23.75m @ 3.34% Ni, 1.54% Cu & 0.08% Co (discovery hole)The recent big sell down after it pulled out of TUR has provided an opportunity for a super lowball entry for anyone game enough to speculate on it's Nickel exploration. Being the "metallic flavour of the month", i think it is a worthwhile buy at these levels, especially as the directors have taken a 50% haircut while they get things back on track. Looking at the course of sales, today witnessed sustained buying all day, with a few of those funny numbered buy orders that institutional investors often seem to use. I'm not expecting fireworks from the get go, but the fall below 1c seems overdone given the potential of it's Canada assets, and a short term trade here seems pretty reasonable.

MC $11.7Mshares on issue 274.4 million cash $2.3m- excellent ground position in the Mt Isa-Cloncurry Copper belt- great JV partner in Copperchem (part of Soul Patterson Group)- JV partner has a mill nearby and well cashed up- excellent board with plenty of success in previous projects- substantial resource upgrade likely soon- recent assays:31.2m@ 3.38% Cu26 m @ 2.13% Cu22 m @ 2.27% Cu- further assays due shortly for a number of holes - low capex assured. I think that the next round of assays are also likely to produce some further high grade hits and the resource upgrade which is underway is likely to result in a significant increase to the Barbara Mineral Resource. Looking at these assay trays below it is easy to see why the market has gotten excited recently about this junior's potential.IMO SMD with the next round of assays and the resource upgrade is likely to achieve a MC of at least $15M-$20M

    MAT - Nickel in WA,
    12/05/2014

MC $38.8 M Cash $3.5M + 12 m PAN shares = $11.5M+ 30% of Mt Henry JV with PANThe recent announcement by Matsa identifying conductors at SHG-02 suggests that Matsa might soon be beginning it's long awaited deep diamond drill holes to test these and other conductors. Matsa has arguably one of the best, if not the best, exploration addresses right now in Australia next to SIR's Nova-Bollinger discovery. Given recent movement in ENT further to the south I think an announcement as to a start of diamond drilling will see MAT's SP rise as investors take positions ahead of possible assays from these deep holes targeting conductors. Furthermore Matsa was astute enough to acquire a substantial ground holding in the Stella Range -Minigwal area where SGQ and WCN are likely to soon be drilling. I actually believe this area forms the southern end of what may be a new nickel sulphide corridor extending from RXL's Camelwood project in the northwest all the way down to the Mulga Tank-Cambridge area. IMHO this corridor may shape up to be the next "hotzone" for a substantial discovery.

Boa has a market cap of 7m with 2.5m cash and they are closest to Sir's nova discovery (around 5km).I have re visited Sir's initial results... Which were 3.8% in and 1.5cu. All high grades were 300m to 450m down. Interestingly, Boa has found above 0.5% in from 16-20m, however, the results got better as they drilled down with highest being 1.75% from 32-36meters. According to boa release, the results were getting better as they were drilling down and further drilling will be done soon.Am I missing something here? AQC - Coal exploration, Bowen Basin, Queensland,
    8/05/2014

Market cap $4.5m, cash $0.7mAQC has gone unconditional on a funding deal with Linchpin Capital in return for a 50% share of EPC 2011, adjacent to Clermont thermal coal mine, the 3rd largest thermal coal mine in Australia. AQC will receive a management fee and Linchpin will fund exploration. I think the funding package will turn out to be larger than AQC's market cap, and the share price will react very favourably when the terms are announced. I am hoping that the management fee will enable AQC to cease it's current dilutive fund raising of selling shares every month to cover admin costs.AQC also has a JV with Rio Tinto to explore Mt Hillalong, adjacent to the Hail Creek coking coal hub. It gives RIO an option to buy 75% of EPC 1827 and was negotiated when coal prices were much higher. RIO is going slow but will come back to drill in 2014, because it wants to expand Hail Creek, it's main coking coal hub.EPC 1827, Cooroorah, is between Wesfarmer's Curragh South and Curragh North open cut mines. AQC is drilling
this EPC and will hopefully negotiate a deal with WES, who has been accumulating land in the area.

Virax has granted a licence to major French biotechnology company Transgene for access to Virax’s Co-X-GeneTM technology for use in two of Transgene’s immunotherapeutic products. These are: TG4001 – a treatment for pathologies relating to human papilloma virus (HPV) infection that can lead to oropharyngeal (head and neck) cancer, and TG4010 – a treatment for non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC).Virax is on the cusp of a stellar opportunity. Because the GGTI-2418 asset comes in mid- stage development, the path to market is able to be achieved more rapidly. If our strategy unfolds as planned, we would expect further clinical trials of GGTI-2418 to be conducted in 2015 and 2016 with a view to licensing the compound or partnering with a global pharmaceutical company in 2017/2018.Virax Holdings Limited (Virax) (ASX:VHL) has entered into an Option Agreement with the Moffitt Cancer Center and Research Institute in Tampa, Florida to license novel technology which allows for the selection of breast and other cancer patients that are likely to respond to Virax’s GGTI-2418.

BUR - Oil /gas in Colarado County, Texas,
    7/05/2014

MCap~$7.9m Cash on hand ~$2.5m No debt Financial Analysis - BUR has 5 producing wells on their Colorado leases that are covering expenses and the price chart is showing a steady upward movement with some volatility. Volume is extremely light in this stock and the visible sell side is very thin. There is also little buy side activity on the board but the stock has again hit a high of 1.8c yesterday and it could be about to break out. In March they presented at the Excellence In Oil & Gas Investment Event that sparked a marked increase in the level of share turnover. Essentially the presentation indicated that they have identified a large new target within existing leases similar to structures drilled by others nearby with good success. These nearby analogue wells have produced initial rates of up to 400 bopd and 8 million cubic feet of gas and the first 100 day production rates are equally impressive. (about 350 bopd)This nearby well has now been named as Cannon 1 and is the best of a set of 5. Burleson hopes to emulate their success with the Golla 1 well. The cost to Burleson will be 1.1 million dollars to drill an unfracced vertical well and this first well will be funded from cash reserves and drilling has been planned to commence in 2Q 2014. Drilling contracts have been announced to be signed in the next few days and then they will proceed to source a rig and get started. The BUR announcements of 14th, 25 March and 30th April give some further details and more information on analogue flow rates. There have been 5 announcements of Directors buying on market since the end of November and it seems that new CEO, Andrew Bald has given the company a different direction and things could be turning around.BUR is a speculative stock, but unlike many it is underpinned by steady cashflow from its existing wells to fund its ongoing operations.

    RVR - Nickel Exploration,
    7/05/2014

shares on issue - 69.33 million MC - $1.1M I took this as a pick a few weeks ago when I realized some group had picked up 70% of shares on issue as a shell play. Today we see that the new management have moved quickly to begin implementing their new strategy and have acquired almost 500 sq kms more ground to add to the 160 sq kms they held in the Stella Range / Minigwal area adjacent to St George Mining . It seems that St George has surrendered some ground possibly due to heavy expenditure commitments and this new proactive management team have picked it up - quite a coup I think! Furthermore they have acquired some ground further north adjacent to WCN and Duketon Mining's Diorite Hill projects . All in all pretty good strategy IMO . If any of SGQ, MAT, WCN or Duketon come up with a decent nickel sulphide discovery these guys are going to hold the ground adjacent to it. In the next few weeks St George are about to embark on their first deep drilling campaign on 7 conductors which have been identified by Newexc o, Sirius's former consultants . Success by SGQ should really draw attention to this part of the world and importantly previous drilling by SGQ and BHP have identified that nickel sulphides are present, they just need to find the accumulation zones for the Ni sulphides.

    6/05/2014

Australian Based Bio Tech company that was recapped a few months ago to sort out funding to progress its promising suite of Osteoporosis and Arthritis drugsIs about to commence human trials for the efficacy of delivering an existing drug for Osteoporosis which is injectable via an Oral tablet"Forteo? is an injectable PTH formulation that is approved and already on the market for the treatment of osteoporosis. Forteo? reported sales in excess of US$1.2 billion in 2013.The study’s aim is to determine whether the oral formulation can provide PTH blood levels comparable to the blood levels from Forteo?. If the oral formulation generates a significant level of the same intact form of PTH that Forteo? delivers, this would potentially enable Bone to fast-track forward development plans of CaPTHymoneTM. Bone Medical Chairman, Rob Towner stated, “A new oral treatment could replace the current daily injection treatment for osteoporosis and significantly expand the market through greater adoption of a delivery form of this important osteoporosis drug that is more convenient and acceptable to patients.” On any sniff of positive results and the stock could easily be trading with a $25m market cap and a share price closer to 10cImportantly this is only one of several drugs BNE has in the pipeline and it is also on the hunt for a new project
