Incredible Charts

Enter Minimum / Maximum Price
NOTE: You can only extract 500 ASX Codes at a time, so run the following:
0.001 to 0.025
0.025 to 0.05
0.05 to 0.075
0.075 to 0.10
0.10 to 0.20
0.21 to 0.50
0.51 to 1.00
1.01 to 5.00
5.01 to 30.00
Run Screens
Click the Create Watchlist Icon
Enter Watchlist Name (I use 0.001 to 0.025 etc)
Click on Charts to exit Stock Screens mode
Watchlist - Set Active WatchList (choose Watchlist ie. 0.001 to 0.025)
Press Down arrow to Scroll through the Active Watchlist.
Use a display period of 1 year to start with.
Make a note of anything that catches your eye.
There will be a total of just over 2,000 ASX Codes.
Once finished, the ones you have made a note of, investigate in more depth. ie. 6-monthly, 3-monthly, 1-monthly, weekly, 5 yearly charts - just to get a different feel / point of view.
Then go and have a look at price sensitive announcements to get a bit of an understanding of the stock. Go to HC Forum. If there is anything dodgy going on with the stock, it usually stands out. Go for postings with the highest number of views first.
Create a whole new Watchlist consisting of the ones you like.
You're done! Currently takes me four x 1 hours sessions on the weekend to complete the process, which allows me to get all my other crap done, and stay in the good books with the missus (a happy wife is a happy life …. well, for her anyway).
Currently going back over the last couple of years to try and understand how often the Minervini patterns occur, and how often it runs into a good profit.
Haven't seen you round the STT Forum before, so welcome and good luck!

Peejay,
You could greatly improve your eyeball speed with Google Sheets.
Set up a sheet with various lists of candidates ( I do ticker/% change/price/chart) and do a sort Z to A on % change. The chart will tell you the shape over whatever period you like.
asx:FNP
=GoogleFinance(A11 ,"name")
=GoogleFinance(A11 ,"changepct")
=GoogleFinance(A11 ,"price")
=sparkline(GOOGLEFINANCE($A11 ,"price",DATE(2017,10,1),TODAY(),"DAILY"),{"charttype","line";"linewidth",2;"color","#5f88cc"})
you'll get the hang of it once you have a go.
My best one is a list for P/E > 40 with charts (a la Weinstein and Minervini)
