With few comments being made on the thread re finding diamonds, the rates tightening cycle has kicked off in the states. Despite the RBA leaving rates on hold yesterday, it's a global economy so rate rises in the states will put upward pressure on our local banks (rising LIBOR).
It's also inevitable that the RBA will tighten rates here also although. Even if rate rises stall, I expect them to be priced in.
For mine, when looking for opportunity in the dips, keep an eye on debt ratio's and loan maturity.
