    Australia is possibly the only country in the world you aren't required to have ID.

    However any non Australian citizen is obliged to produce their passport on demand which is the whole point of the document.

    Therefore police etc are entitled to ask any foreigner to produce their passport and valid visa.foreigner.

    Only the Left is ridiculous enough to suggest this is not appropriate.

    I'd like to see some of these Aussie commies go to Chin, North Korea, Vietnam or any other leftist countries without ID and see how these leftist government would treat their pathetic arguments.
