Thanks for the sound advice Gillys, it does not pay to be naive.
(Proverbs 14:15) The naive person believes every word, But the shrewd one ponders each step.
Often however when spiritual help is offered the wicked fail to recognize the excelling value of it and move on well before any invitation into the home is contemplated.
As Jesus saidJohn 6:44) No man can come to me unless the Father, who sent me, draws him, and I will resurrect him on the last day.
If you read along in ch 6 you will see how many that were claiming to be worshippers of Jehovah, rejected Jesus because his teachings clashed with their preconceived ideas.
In much the same way many today calling themselves Christian are not prepared to accept teachings from the Scriptures, preferring to hold on to their prejudiced opinions.
