Leaving aside the matter of the plea for clemency for the Bali Duo, I am offended by how the Indonesian president has snubbed the Australian prime minister's request for another phone call; Abbott has been waiting since last Wednesday. It is an insult. Tony Abbott and Julie Bishop should stop begging for mercy for the Duo; Australia has done what it practically could, there is no need to kowtow to our neighbour.
I am also offended by how Indonesians have taken for granted the generosity of Australia in helping them and how quick they are to forget those generosity.
We need to acquire nuclear weapons to protect our national sovereignty.
