Should be no surprise to anyone. This was just one or more instos balancing the portfolio, and in retrospect it was an ugly call. But for all we know it was bot driven. Nobody at the insto will lose their job, or even their sleep.

many shares, Inc SVL offer these opportunities in the auction close. Svl offers it up once every couple of months.

i managed to get 300k at close, but for those watching the auction, there was about 9m at 19, and a further 8m at 19.5. And with a minute to go there was still 2.4m excess to buy at 19 without risk of tipping it to 19.5. I would have upped the order to 1m but being on my phone, out on manly ferry, with my missus demanding attention, I decided not to. Missed 10k in a trade right there.

for those of you speculating 'to the moon' you should know better. Svl has a permanent handbrake on it. My guess is as bad as anyone else's but I can't see it opening above 20.5 and maybe topping to 21 or 21.5, that's all. And then it's at the whim of what happens Monday. Who hasn't seen this story play out many times before?

nothing fundamentally changes till the milestones get marked off....final approvals, churning dirt, commissioning of plant, first production + sales + revenue. Cash is king and until that happens svl will be like a yoyo.

i have no doubt many will have their reasons to disagree.

but the chances of Friday's auction dump being specific insider trading relating to a pre opening, negative announcement on Monday....very very low.
