NYSE Average daily volume: Then 1.3 billion shares; Now 545 million shares.
Those were the figures in 2007, when the Dow peaked previously versus the corrent peak.
I wonder what/where all that money is now?
Lots of frightened investors out there who don't trust the Gubbermint and/or the market, and rightly so IMHO.
