The rumour mill is running hot! At least something is running, as Florence is rumoured to be dead duck!
Appears all is far from well at Tantangara!
This would account for the deafening silence coming out of Snowy Hydro on any Florence tunnelling progress now she is supposedly ‘unpaused’.
According to the rumours a whole new tunnel location and TBM replacement for Florence is required, and already confirmed. And, Florence is headed for the chopping up block!
Snowy Hydro will need to dismantle Florence and scrap her, as they cannot remove the cement segment's from behind her.
These problems at Tantangara, and with TBM Florence, will add many, many years, and many, many millions if not billions to the project cost.
This is the stuff that topples Governments. Labor and Albo are on target to be a one term LABOR Government and one term Prime Minister respectively.
This information is pretty solid. Supporting the rumour, in the past month every empty house in Adaminaby, Old Adaminaby Township, and Anglers Reach have been taken up to facilitate 20-30 beds for the project supervisors.
