Hydrogen when they get it to acceptable cost levels will be an absolute game changer over current technologies. They already can retrofit diesel engines to a hydrogen hybrid system. Going to be way cheaper than scrapping all diesel engines and having to start over. Still a way to go with it though but it will likely happen eventually, especially in the multi-billion dollar mining industry.
