What incentives are Origin offering ?
Acorn. Retailers r offering 6c - 12c/kW
Origin is only offering 6c on top of FIT, read the conditions ..... take particular notice on usage discounts which every consumer is entitled too. Some retailers only give a discount if your r in debt overall.
With Origin you can get a discount on usage on top of FIT of about 7% if u structure ur bill correctly ..... u still get
this discount even if u r getting paid for exporting power to the grid.
Just a point of interest- non-solar and solar households pay the same amount per kW for usage.
Like I mentioned my last post, it's not in the interest of private companies to build new infrastructure. It's more fruitful to maximise the return on existing infrastructure by putting forward arguments to each States gullible Competition Authority and State Govt.
Every consumer should make an effort to see what these companies r being paid for.
People in Vic should find out what the private companies were prepared to do them over a Xmas period many years ago.
