Regardless of our government tickling at the edges to solve the housing crisis/deficit (rental and ownership) the economic law of demand and supply still rules the roost and will take years to resolve, if ever, given the destruction by fires, wild weather, lack of builders and the ever-increasing population. Quite the pickle unless governments tackle the problem on a war footing. Without that mindset we look to become a reflection of America with a further explosion of tent cities, poverty and broken people. The 2020's when Australia ceased to be the lucky country.
