Real Estate agents have a great influence on the prices paid for homes when you consider the compounding effect over time of their relentless push for higher prices.

    * underquoting in order to draw a huge crowd at an auction thus making out that “this is truly a remarkable property” then during the process drawing attention to the bidders like they’re the main characters in a Shakespearean play and squeezing every last cent out them, it’s pure theatre.
    * buying a listing for sale other than auction ensuring a property is marketed for more than the sneaky RE Agent thinks it’s worth.

And just those two underhanded tactics by RE Agents compounded over time increase the price of property. The Real Estate Institute has investigated the practice of under quoting but nothing’s changed.

Who’d have thought RE Agents investigating their own would lead to nothing?

And they don’t influence prices, gimme a break hahahaha.
