the way I read it is if you do not attend in person and do not nominate someone else as your proxy.
then you need to nominate the chairman to be your proxy and direct him to vote in the way you select in the voting options for each resolution.
if you just select the chairman but do not set any preferences he/she will direct the votes as they see fit.
failing to appoint someone or turn up in person will null any selections for/against/abstain on any resolutions.
I could be wrong and have misinterpreted the form though.
Maybe a quick Google will set things straight.
the voting form i'm sure is worded in this way IMO to confuse so lots of voting forms are not counted.
