Hi dougfr, I think if you read the proxy firm closely, you'll note that if you don't nominate any particular person as your proxy, it automatically defaults to the Chairman who, if you don't direct your vote, may vote at his/her discretion. However, if you are directing your vote by ticking the boxes (as I certainly have) the Chairman (or any nominated person MUST vote in accordance with your intentions. You do not have to nominate anyone, it defaults to the Chairman, and your votes are counted as you have indicated. I believe this is required under Corporations Law, cheers
