as I kid, I was really into music, always listening to my transistor radio my sister bought me for 8th xmas & then that amazing clock radio with the sleep countdown function
I remember when I was 12yo and would listen to the radio in my dark room, every Sunday night. the 1st time I heard the next tune I said: "what on earth is that?!" mind blowing. it wasn't until I was 15yo and obtained the album
also, I did not really know who Jimi Hendrix was until I was say 18yo. but as a kid, each time I heard Hey Joe on the radio, the one with the backing vocals, I would be spellbound, hypnotized & for some reason feel like crying
