I was going to make the same query a few hours ago, definitely not normal or explicable by any obvious external factors.
If they were sitting on any good news, you'd expect the sp rise would have forced them to accept a leak had occurred and declare, as they have always seemed very scrupulous.
Sometimes these spikes get engineered by people ( or bots?) seeking trading gains. Will be interesting to watch, as if anything real behind it it must be pretty good!
I personally thought the sp had got pretty fully priced last time it got into the 560s, but then there's always overshoot both ways, and IGO shines with a bit more quality than most miners.
Let's hope there's been a major discovery in the Tropicana belt, preferably where we have better than 30%.
