The ugly truth is, company execs see the shareholders as an annoyance like a back seat driver and that's why they limit errata news releases and updates so much. Some companies much more than others. If any company starts being overly proactive with news flow, that becomes the new minimum benchmark and any failure to deliver starts the chooks squawking. So a ration diet is the permanent order of the day.
