1. Well, in terms of risk, then yes, this legislation may avoid some suicides and self harm. Does it have to be all or none to make a positive change?
2. Compassion is not a finite resource. I believe that attempts to reduce self harm among all populations should be made.
3. I believe that muslims moving to Australia should make significant attempts to assimilate into our communities and share our values. Although, I don't really see the logic in you raising this point as an argument. Seems irrelevant to me.
4. Again, the issue of relevance here. Please reconsider the use of islam for arguments against same sex marriage.
