Seems to me it is all about balance... Shareholders have waited a very long time to get to see KAR finally reach production and hopefully a dividend. Some have watched their SP go from the $6, 7, 8. 9 , 10, $11 range down to $2 and below over the last ten years. It's not hard to imagine that those SH's might like to get a dividend along the way as well as see some asset growth.
What are you going to say, If global politics settles down and/or we have another global financial crisis and the world is awash with oil yet again, we could see oil back at $40-$50 barrel , SH's will still not have received a divvie and of course the SP will be nowhere reflecting the current POO and minimal profitability at the time.
Seems to me it is all about balance... Shareholders have waited...
