I see i was tagged in this thread.I am not a technical trader ,just a bloke who does very detailed research and stays away from pumps.I make my conviction choices using my own funds never leveraged.Sure I take the odd loss but more frequently I make a very good return sufficient to cover the odd loss many times over. My maps and research are my strengths,I very rarely post on HC anymore and on the other platform make only the odd two liner comment.I don't need to pump my picks ,they will give me the earns I look for. Sometimes 20% sometimes more for a short term hold of a few days and my long holds of a year tend to reward me well.I take my losses early mostly unless my position size is so large it is impossible to exit without smashing the stock,Then I wait for the events I have been waiting for to play out ie drilling news or assays.I don't trade O&G at all ,nor biotech.I stick to what I know ....rocks
