We ran a terrific third yesterday at the Coast. Plan was to jump, take a sit behind the leaders, however, she pinged the gates and Nathan had to sit outside the leader. First time she’s been used up early. Beaten 2.5 lengths, the winner was just simply too good. Sat outside the leader and us, and won easily. Ruby wanted to hang, so a ring bit has been suggested for her next run. Nathan thought her hanging probably cost her second place.
We opened at $21, after a couple of scratchings we were $17 but started at $4.80. Someone liked her, certainly wasn’t our $$, although we were expecting a good run.
Next option race wise, 1200m, but there is also an 1100m non-tab Kilcoy later in the month too.
I hope you all had something on her, and well done @farlap on your collect.
