My original thoughts were that this referendum was so soundly defeated in Parliament earlier this year, I thought it had no chance of getting up. Recently I read it was gaining traction however, and that it may succeed. Being somewhat closer to the coalface than we, downunder, what is your thoughts of it getting 'thru?
The other part of the refendum, of course is that Swiss gold held overseas must be repatriated forthwith. I have not heard any numbers, of how much gold this will entail. If these numbers are significant, I believe this could cause a bigger stir in the short term.
But as I said, I still don't give it much chance. Just hope
