The bigger issue here is the Childrens court system.
Have a look at Melton today with the teenagers in the shopping center. The mum on TV last night saying lock up my son that has over 150 charges.
Every school holidays the crime rates jump up, kids know they can get away with anything and the parents no longer control or can do much. The parent are more likely to be charged than the kids for taking actions to stop the kids from commiting crime.
The system needs a overhaul, or this just contines and gets worse especially when people with different values enter the country. Instead of saying they need to be taken out of disadvantage to solve the issue, maybe they should be grateful they were allowed into the country which has given them a opportunity and a better standard of life.... Mess with that oppurtunity then harden the response.
This kid should be made an example of, its a planned terror attack and as such full punishment should apply sending a message to others no matter the age.
