That 15 yr old boy/attacker was rushed to hospital for urgent surgery due to severe hand injuries sustained during his stabbing of priest - goes without saying as a 15 yr old (child) he is under police guard & protection (costing tax payers money for course) in addition to that section of hospital boy is in sectioned & closed off with security to protect him from danger (perhaps police can also offer protection to church goers in Australia from now on as well - we need security around churches & shopping centers).
I bet that this 15 yr old attacker can never be named (nor shamed) & will be allowed multiple solicitors to represent him in the children's court of course (at another cost to tax payers of course).
Boys solicitors will argue your honour he is only a child with mental health issues & doesn't know as a child what he did & can't be punished for it because he has his whole life ahead of him (that's how legal system works in Australia however if boy had stabbed a politician instead then totally different scenario altogether & he'd get life in jail)
