just a quickie here.
re. Freakin facts - I chatted with Kim the other night - she is good value - and, forgive me if I said this before - can't remember if I mentioned it ------------
she reminded me that orders that are out now and probably in the last couple of weeks at least --
WILL NOT show up in the next quarter report - because the quarter only reports cash - not P&L.
So - whoever has received chemicals and now has an invoice, but hasn't paid by the end of this month ----------- will NOT show up.
All orders received - whether paid or unpaid though - WILL show up in the P&L in the half report --------- because of accrual.
So - where are the FACTS -------------- they are in the coming half.
Now - the quarter should look good anyway ------------- but, in reality - this quarter - if we knew what had happened - would blow us away.
The Half --------- will blow us away ----------------- exactly like I showed IMO - in the Nearmap climb ------------- the biggest climb was after a solid half.
Now - the only thing that will stuff that up for getting a 'true' reading of market sentiment - is -----
NY. But, as you will read when I get it finished ------------ the 'real' risk for NY - from where we are right now - here - in SP is -- UP - capital letters UP.
If anyone ever wondered why stocks don't just adjust up in one big bang - these are the sorts of reasons ------------------- the SP moves because - we HEAR we are having a good quarter - then, we get a bit of fact when we see ----------- 'some' of the evidence - a little cash etc. -- but, then - the Profit or Loss gets a gong --------------- and that is by then, solid evidence - and then the SP moves steadily from there ------------ it might gap on the day - and, also - it well might move before that as we get compulsory upgrades or downgrades if the numbers move more than whatever percentage -- but, in the end ------------ generally - that is how it goes.
Anyway - NY could - and imo WILL throw an awful big spanner in that lot of works - we are rolling along nicely in the AJX train - it has been a nice smooth ride up hill, along the plateaus and down the odd slope ---------------- but, soon, we are going to enter a tunnel ------------- and, when we come out of that tunnel ------------- the AJX train as we know it - will have transformed into a wild roller coaster -------------- absolutely bloody exhilarating - the general direction will be up -- but, boy if you wear a hair piece - you will need the thing superglued on and some gaffa tape over the top - going all the way around under your chin.
We will - IMO - come out the other end - far far far wealthier than we are now - but, boy - expect a bad hair day - many of them
So ------------- to TA ------------- look to the quarters, halves and upgrades --------------- that will give gaps and breakout areas etc.
