Technicals are like fundamentals - only right slightly better than 50% of the time.
I believe that good traders are born not made - they intuitively know when to press the buy button or the sell button.
Technical analysis does give you a clue when the price may fall and then you can sell and buy in again at a price cheaper than you sold for.
However, that takes guts to admit you were temporarily wrong or instinct to just press the sell button with no emotion whatsoever.
