Block walls are rendered in most cases. Blocks are not attractive so rendered or blue boarded.
Dry wall always, on inside external walls due to moisture and has to be battoned out. can be just glued on on internal walls.
New clay blocks might do away with this.
This will cover up dripping glue.
Mortar is the same, always has to be scraped up after the job, glue wont be much harder to clean up.
