As someone pointed out February futures were trading in this range for a week already. Jan futures were trading higher. All that's happened is Jan futures are now obsolete and the headline price you are displaying has rolled over to feb futures. That's the reason for the big drop on your chart but in reality prices remained pretty flat overnight
