And what do they do once they've burnt? They replant and new trees grow and the forest is once more.
The greenies should be promoting this as it means carbon is stored permantly in the trees cut down and more carbon can be stored in the newly planted trees.
Forestry is a truely renewable industry and my bet is most people here who are against it know nothing about the realities and probably haven't even seen the forests they're banging on about.
