elliot wave theory is one of the algos i subscribe to.. mapping the market moves to waves of emotion that humans go thru , it's got very strong supporters and haters , both sides equally ..
BUT at the end of the day its based on emotion, and how best to illicit emotions from humans ? big news releases, great quarterly results, take over offers, dividend announcements, suggestive whispers on a popular stock forum etc, they all feed us to buy/sell etc.. ..
the chart mapped using elliot waves, maps these fluctuations of emotions over time , and with enough trend you can sort of extend the elliot waves to the future and predict where the chart may potentially go ..
NO ONE KNOWS FOR SURE HOW THE CHART WILL TREND ..
