You could be on to something, Volume & Volume at price have been decreasing on the way up. Although if your using measured moves, I'd consider some basic wave theory here and assume that the first 6000 points was Wave 1, therefore the current wave( wave 3) should be larger than Wave 1.
I've also inserted( not drawn) some linear regression bands calculated over the whole move from the 09 low, which look to support the idea that price might further extend to the upside first.
