Deep down, I believe that I am an advocate for peace. But few, if any of my colleagues, family or friends, actually belive that.
There are too many geo-political, neo-sporting variants thta I like playing around with to be truly regarded as a dove of peace. More likely, a peace realist. Just like the piece in today's Sunday Age concerning the SAS capturing an Iraqi cement plant - using the non-lethal sconic boom of an F-15 flying overhead to "shock and awe" the occupants into surrendering, coupled with the statement - "now surrender, or die".
To me, peace is always the first option. But, if I can't have peace, then war it is!!! On and off the field.
