The direction that the USA heads in over the coming next four years will influence the direction that the rest of the World takes.

Sleepy Joe and the Democrats promise to pretty well make 9 million jobs redundant by going Hard Green in the oil and gas related industries (I don’t mean just Oil and Gas) reminds me of how the introduction and adoption in large numbers of the ICE in Agriculture and Transport set the course to the Great Depression.

Prior to the wide adoption of ICE in Agriculture and Transport, some 30% of the workforce were engaged in these two areas.

The two biggest affects of ICE were large numbers of workers flooding other ares of employment creating all the associated issues with wage suppression and unemployment........ and the one that most don’t think about........ horses and other beasts of burden were in oversupply.

A third of all agricultural production went down the throats of the beasts of burden before the ICE.

Thus agricultural production was in oversupply and the slaughter of the beasts of burden killed the profitability of the meat industry.

EV’s and other forms of electrification will have many unforeseen consequences......... and changes forced by Governments will be even more dramatic than changes brought on by Market Forces.

You can rest assured Government will “F” it up.......... after all, only the silliest people get elected to power.

Stretching the truth about Biden's plan for the fossil fuel industry ?

The Democrats are going to transition to renewable energy progressively. They are not going to shut down the fossil industry overnight and put everyone out of work.

That is quite simply not true.

Unlike the deniers, the progressive move across will enable people to retrain and get jobs in new industries rather than wait for the fossil industry to collapse under their feet .
