The consensus of panelists was the Scott Morrison's unilateral push to impose a 50% increase in the GST allowed Bill Shorten's scare campaign to register with Australians and that even Malcolm Turnbull has been led to conclude that it would damage the economy and require even bigger government and higher taxes [I ♥♥♥♥♥♥ it].

Panelists raised the question as to whether or not Morrison, Mike Baird and Jay Weatherall have been damaged by leading the bigger and hairy-chested GST campaign. Turnbull all but attributed full responsibility for the call for a bigger GST on Weatherall; IMO fanning tensions already apparent within the ALP.
